Started his career at the age of 16 years as a sales man from a garments store (Teedees Garments) at Jinnah Super market Islamabad. After graduating as an Electronics Engineer from NED University of Engineering and Technology Karachi, he started his first professional job in 1993 from S.Ejazuddin & Co, a highly reputable local distributor for IVD products, as a Service Engineer. During 1994 – 1996, he stayed with Roche and then moved to Abbott Diagnostics with an additional sales responsibility. During his stay with Abbott he completed his MBA in Marketing and moved completely into sales profession. His 18 years of progressive journey with Abbott took him from just a territory sales person to the level of Country Manager (Singapore / Brunei) and Business Manager (Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Maldives and Afghanistan).

His contributions and successes are recorded in the history of Abbott diagnostics in terms of business growth and bottom line results.
